Abstract
A theory of the oscillatory current characteristics of a Stark ladder electron weakly coupled with LO phonons is presented. Within the Tamm-Dancoff approximation, the electric field dependent conductivity is calculated to show that the observed oscillation is clear evidence of the two dimensional character of the density of states of the Stark ladder levels. Good agreement with recent experiments is obtained. Keywords
