Abstract
Excitation functions have been measured for twelve reactions that produce 4.1-h from Tb compound nuclei. Projectiles were , , , , , , , and . Peak cross sections range from approximately 0.5% to approximately 7% of the calculated total reaction cross section. The excitation functions are well systematized by the simple assumption that only those compound nuclei of angular momentum less than are effective in these reactions.
