Abstract
SUSY events in which a light top squark decays to a chargino may manage to pass the cuts designed for top counting experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron with no significant diminution of signal. Events in which a top decays via a top squark are detected with fair efficiency compared to SM top events when t̃1→bW̃1. More importantly, direct pair production of light top squarks contributes significantly to the cut samples. Many SUSY models with top squarks lighter than 100 GeV are viable even for Γ(t→t̃1)≈Γ(t→bW).
