Abstract
During a period of 4 months and one week a sea hare laid 60,565 cm. of egg string, containing 478 million eggs. The method of mating and of laying eggs are descr. The eggs, which are 77 [mu] in diam., are laid at the average rate of 41,000 per min-ute. Veliger larvae escape after 12 days.
