Abstract
Neutron diffraction experiments and magnetization measurements were performed on DyMg and ErMg (CsCl structure: a=3.759 AA and a=3.737 AA, respectively. DyMg is antiferromagnetic in zero applied field ( mu Dv=6 mu B). A strong ferromagnetic component develops in moderate applied fields. ErMg is ferromagnetic ( mu Er=2.0 mu B).Keywords
