Abstract
We have calculated the energy bands of lanthanum and praseodymium in the face-centered-cubic structure using the relativistic augmented-plane-wave method. Calculations for the density of states, the magnetic susceptibility, and the Fermi surface are also performed, and the results are correlated with some of the electronic and magnetic properties of these metals. Keywords
