Abstract
Divacancies and trivacancies in body-centered-cubic metals are classified and discussed for the nearest-neighbor and the next-nearest-neighbor interaction. The general kinetic equations are given. The formation of divancancies during quenching and annealing is discussed in detail. Keywords
