Abstract
The mass culture of diaspine scale insects on potato tuber is described. The egg-size mature potato is superior to other media in its availability, ease of handling and infesting the amt. of scale-supporting surface per unit of housing space, the low % of insects lost because of host plant deterioration and adaptability to a rapid turnover of material. Keywords
