Abstract
Hack''s (1953) rapid method of disk chromatography was used for orientational analysis of lipids of the sebum obtained from the skin of the forehead of healthy white adults. The detection of individual components has been extended by the use of additional reactions. This method has detected, besides other previously demonstrated substances, the presence of phosphatides in the human sebum. Keywords
