Abstract
Low energy collision and annihilation parameters for positrons scattered by molecular nitrogen have been calculated in the adiabatic (fixed nuclei) approximation. The interaction of the positron with the nitrogen molecule is represented as a superposition of static and polarization potentials. The elastic scattering cross section, the annihilation rate and the rotational excitation cross section are presented. Keywords
