Abstract
The complex dielectric constant of NaNO2 between 1 MHz and 1 GHz has been determined in the T(temperature)-E(static electric field) plane around the incommensurate phase. Dielectric dispersion was found to be very close to the monodispersive Debye type, whereas proportionality between the relaxation time and the static dielectric constant was violated in the incommensurate phase. The triple point and the critical point which are induced by application of the bias field were consistently determined by examining both the static dielectric constant and the relaxation time. Keywords
