Abstract
In 7-day-old rats a uniformly fatal encephalitis develops following either intra-cerebral or intranasal inoculation of the virus; rats which were 12 days of age when inoculated showed a high degree of susceptibility but some rats of this age were found to be resistant; rats 3-4 weeks of age, and rats 7-8 weeks of age, did not develop a clinically apparent infection following intracerebral injection of the virus. Keywords
