Abstract
The effect of thyroid hormones on the rate of disappearence of pyruvate from blood in rabbits was studied. It was found that in thyroidectomised rabbits, 5 to 7 months after the operation, the rate of disappearence of pyruvate from blood was slightly decreased. In intact and in thyroidectomised animals after the thyroxine treatment a significant-decrease of the rate of disappearence of pyruvate was found. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
