Abstract
The frequency response of an extemal electro-optic probe has been determined, experimeritally and using finite-difference, time-domain simulations, to be extremely sensitve to both the elevation and permittivity of the probe. An analytical expression to correct for the system response of the probe has been tested. The use of low-permittivity EO polymers has also been proposed and demonstrated computationally. Keywords
