Abstract
The electrical conductivity of α-FeOOH and β-FeOOH, preheated at 100–140 °C in vacuo, was determined over the temperature range from 0 to 140 °C. The conductivity increased considerably with a rise in the preheating temperature. The increase appears to be due to Fe2+ions produced by surface dehydration in the preheating. Keywords
