Abstract

We have studied dibaryon resonance production in the reaction

p + p \to π + X

at 12.5 BeV. The deuteron-production cross section was found to be 3.1±1.0 μb/sr in the c.m. system. A limit on other

X

production was set at ≤1.5 μb/sr in the c.m. system.
