Abstract
The finite-range full-recoil distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations have been done for the reaction Ni60(O18, O16)Nig.s.62 employing the surface transparent "Brookhaven" potentials. It is found that for this reaction the recoil effects considerably affect the shape of angular distribution at angles greater than 30°. The no-recoil treatment is shown to overestimate the distorted-wave Born-approximation cross section by a factor of about 4.
