Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 29-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of a question of a hepatic tumor.She was well until three weeks earlier, when a dull ache developed in the right upper abdominal quadrant. One week before admission she awoke with a constant sharp pain in the right upper quadrant, which progressed in intensity and was aggravated by movement. On the following day she was admitted to another hospital. An oral cholecystographic examination was negative, although the liver was enlarged, and an upper gastrointestinal series was normal.
