Abstract
The most commonly used methods of measuring emphysema were reviewed. At the present time there is no one method that is clearly superior to all other methods, nor has one method been generally adopted. Measurements may be subjective or objective. They may measure extent, or they may measure extent and severity. The same technique may be used to measure centrilobular and pan-lobular emphysema, and these 2 types of emphysema may affect the measurements differently. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
