Abstract
The conjugation of hydroxy compounds by Locusta migratoria was investigated by paper chromatography and other methods. No glucosiduronic acid conjugates were produced by (-)-menthol, borneol, 7- or 8-hydroxyquinoline, or m-aminophenol. m-Aminophenol and quinol were converted, in part, into compounds having the properties of the corresponding beta-D-glucoside.Keywords
