Abstract
A recently proposed model (see Physica B&C, vol.86-88, p.197 (1977)) of spin-reorientation in ferromagnetic GdAl2 is confronted with some new experimental results. The occurrence of a temperature-dependent spin reorientation process in the system is shown to be highly improbable. Keywords
