Abstract
Mismatch problems in a Smith predictor control scheme have boon investigated using sensitivity points concepts. It is shown that this method is possible in this case without reducing the controller! system to a canonical form. It is demonstrated that for temporal sensitivity in the off-line case it is possible to avoid the use of a differentiator unit using standard analogue computation techniques. The computer realization of the sensitivity points method gives further insights into Smith's control method, and into the general sensitivity problem. Keywords
