Abstract
The and reactions have been studied at 26 MeV with an overall resolution of 18-20 keV using a split pole magnetic spectrometer. Spectroscopic factors have been extracted for 16 levels in , 14 levels in , and 24 levels in . The ratio shows a singularity at . The small value of for is consistent with a previously proposed description of the structure of the states involved which is based on a simple mixing of and proton configurations. The results for the reactions are compared with a recent shell-model calculation.
