Abstract
Stabilized beef tallow was fed to lactating dairy cows and its effect on blood serum lipids concentration, milk production, and milk composition was observed. The concentration of blood serum lipids was significantly increased by feeding a concentrate mixture with 7% added beef tallow. Animals on the high-fat ration produced significantly more milk than those on the control ration.
