Abstract
A two-potential coherent approach of Hayashi and Kuchitsu (1976) is employed to study e-linear-polyatomic-molecule elastic scattering at intermediate and high energies. The short-range static potentials at various atomic centres are derived from target molecular wavefunctions. Results are reported for e-C2H2 elastic scattering at 100-1000 eV. Comparison with experiment is very good. Keywords
