Transfer matrix approach to the analysis of an arbitrary quantum well structure in an electric field

Abstract
A new transfer matrix technique is presented for the exact analysis of quantum well structures in an electric field using the exact Airy function form of the wave function. This method is applied to an asymmetric-coupled quantum well structure and the electronic eigenfunctions are generated.Keywords
