Anderson localization in a model binary alloy

Abstract
The equation-of-motion method is applied to a random binary alloy represented by a simple tight-binding Hamiltonian in the split-band limit. The results suggest that Anderson localization occurs well above the percolation threshold, which was not predicted by previous analytic studies.Keywords
