Abstract
The proteolytic enzyme precursor found in the euglobulin fraction of serum of 7 animal spp., was activated by streptokinase, protamine and spontaneously. Definite variations in the activation pattern were observed among the several species studied. The activation pattern of the monkey (Macacus rhesus) alone, was similar to the human.Keywords
