Abstract
Electron autoionisation spectra resulting from Mg+-Ne collisions are reported in the electron energy range 19-30 eV, at Mg+ energies of 5.0, 2.0 and 0.70 keV. An energy shift in one autoionisation feature and a broadening of another are observed. Large absolute differential cross sections at theta =90 degrees (of the order 10-17 cm2 sr-1) are measured by comparison of the Mg+-Ne electron signal to elastic scattering signal of electrons on Ne.Keywords
