Abstract
We have obtained the charge and spin susceptibilities in the ferromagnetic state of an electron gas, including the effects of the long-range nature of the Coulomb interaction from a unified point of view. The susceptibilities are discussed as a function of the magnetization for typical ferromagnetic alloy systems. Keywords
