Semi-classical estimate of resonance Raman scattering amplitudes

Abstract
An analytic expression for the resonance Raman scattering amplitude for a diatomic molecule is shown to yield rather good estimates. The formula is based on the use of the uniform Airy approximation for the Franck-Condon amplitudes.Keywords
