Manifestly positive-energy expression in classical gravity: Simplified derivation from supergravity

Abstract
A simplified derivation of Witten's expression for the total energy-momentum in classical general relativity is given. The starting point is the supersymmetry transformation law of the surface integral giving the supercharge in supergravity.Keywords
