Abstract
Two groups have been compared with each other with respect to the possible influence of a number of possible predictors of success in voluntary methadone withdrawal-one group that succeeded in terminating their methadone maintenance treatment and one group that did not manage to quit, despite serious attempts. Each of the groups contains 25 subjects. The possible predictors were subdivided into Conditions and Interventions. The results show that few Conditions exhibit any predictive value, while a larger proportion of the studied Interventions are associated with success. Keywords
