Abstract
A time-frequency analysis of linear, time-varying (LTV) systems may be based on two new time-frequency representations of LTV systems called the input Wigner distribution (WD) and the output WD. The two WD definitions coincide in the case of normal systems. The proposed WD representation can also be applied to the optimum design of LTV systems. Keywords
