Abstract
Self‐broadened linewidths of OCS, BrCN, CH3Br, and HCHO have been measured at various temperatures from −40 to 75 °C using a double modulation microwave spectrograph. The linewidths have also been calculated using Anderson–Tsao–Curnutte theory and the extension by Murphy and Boggs. Within the temperature range investigated the linewidth decreases with temperature both experimentally and theoretically in an identical manner. Keywords
