Abstract
The problem of obtaining perturbative solutions to the nonlinear differential equations which describe the motion of the x6 and quartically coupled oscillators is treated by the use of the well‐known coherent state representation. The results exhibit the basic qualitative features of nonlinearities and the characteristics of a coupled system in the weak coupling limit.Keywords
