Abstract
The foregoing expts. are interpreted to indicate that Darstine is rapidly and avidly sequestered in tissues following the admn. Its duration of action probably is determined by its rate of diffusion from its sites of anticholinergic action. The rapid renal tubular secretion of Darstine apparently serves no useful function in its physiological economy except to remove from plasma water circulated to the kidney such amts. of the compound per se as are in diffusion equilibrium with that in tissues. Keywords
