Abstract
Two cases of Periarteritis nodosa are reported. In 1 case the diagnosis was established by typical histological findings in a biopsy from the gastrocnemius muscle. In both cases peripheral neuritis was a prominent clinical manifestation. One patient developed advanced bilateral optic atrophy. Eosinophilia varying from 56-71% was present in 1 patient. Therapy had no effect and both patients died of this disease. Keywords
