Abstract
136 strains of Rhlzoblum bacteria were tested for barter toe In production. The appearance of antibiotic-like growth inhibition zones around the sterilized macro-colonies was taken as positive evidence for rhizobiocln production. The zones were highly irregular; consequently the absence of such zones warranted no definite conclusions. All strains were tested for lysogeny; the possibility that the inhibition zones were produced by phage action was discounted. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
