First Estimate of the Higher-Order Terms in the Scaling-Violation Pattern of Quantum Chromodynamics

Abstract
It is shown that the special leading-logarithm structure of the solution to the renormalization-group equation enables one to obtain a reasonable estimate of the still unknown terms of order . Implications of this result on future tests of quantum chromodynamics at short distances are discussed.
