Abstract
The reactions , and are studied using a Regge-pole exchange model. Only the contribution of the leading trajectory, which in this case is , is retained. In analogy with , we assume a linear trajectory for with a slope close to that of , and neglect the dependence of the residues, after the threshold factor has been extracted out. The energy and angular dependence of the cross sections so obtained are in reasonable agreement with experiment.
