Abstract
It is shown that , , and elastic-scattering and charge-exchange data at high energy and small momentum transfer can be well fitted by assuming that the amplitudes are dominated by a few Regge poles in the crossed channel. The constraints imposed by the factorization principle are included. Unitary symmetry () is approximately satisfied. Sample predictions of polarization and charge exchange are made.
