Higgs-boson production at large transverse momentum in quantum chromodynamics

Abstract

We estimate the Higgs-boson production cross sections

\frac{d σ}{dy}

and

\frac{d σ}{dyd {q_{T}}^{2}}

at

y = 0

in

p (\bar{p}) p

collisions by calculating the subprocess gluon + gluon→Higgs boson + heavy-quark-antiquark pair.
