Abstract
The 1st reported case of anuria in a 1-mo.-old male newborn associated with disseminated candidiasis was studied. Anuria resulted from bilaterally obstructing Candida bezoars. Renal decompression was established with bilateral nephrostomy placement and the renal candidiasis was treated successfully with a combination of parenteral amphotericin B and 5-fluorocytosine.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
