Abstract
For pt.VI, see ibid., vol.20, p.6447-56 (1987). Energy levels, f values and photoionisation cross sections are calculated for He-like ions using methods described in paper II of this series. The 'target' states included in the close-coupling expansions are 1s, 2s, 2p, 1p and 1d, where 1p and 1d allow for dipole and quadrupole polarisation, respectively, of 1s. The calculations are made for all bound states 1snl with n<or=10 and l<or=2, and for ions with nuclear charge Z=2-14 and then Z=16, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 28 and 36. Photoionisation calculations are made for energies up to and just beyond the threshold for leaving the product H-like ion in its n=2 state. Keywords
