Abstract
The upward diffusion cloud chamber was used to study the binary homogeneous nucleation in helium of the MeOH–EtOH, MeOH‐n‐PrOH, and EtOH‐n‐PrOH mixtures at 280 K. The experimental results given in terms of activities of both components needed to achieve a rate of nucleation of 1 droplet cm−3 s−1 compare favorably with the theoretical predictions deduced from the classical theory. Keywords
