Abstract
Aldrin was very effective against the plum curculio during its immature stages for a period of at least 4 years after it was worked into the soil. Dieldrin was a little more effective than aldrin during the 4th year, but less effective during the 1st 3 years. Heptachlor was very effective for at least 3 years, and chlordane was effective for at least a year. Isodrin was comparatively ineffective. The results from soil plot tests were confirmed in large-scale peach orchard tests. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
