Abstract
Trichomonas vaginalis strains were obtained from female patients who apparently failed to respond to a standard course of treatment with metronidazole (200 mg three times daily for 7 days). In vitro sensitivity studies revealed no loss of sensitivity of these strains to metronidazole, the sensitivity ranging from 0.25 to 1 [mu]g/ml.Keywords
