Abstract
Serum-induced transcription of the proto-oncogene fos is under negative feedback regulation mediated by the fos protein. The fos promoter region responsive to repression is also required for serum inducibility and binds a nucleoprotein complex in which the nuclear factor AP-1 is associated with fos protein. Keywords
