Abstract
We perform numerical simulations of SU(2) lattice gauge theory on 4 64 lattices with 4≤L≤16. A finite-size scaling analysis of the tunneling signal extrapolates the critical coupling (relevant for the deconfining phase transition with =4) toward the infinite-volume limit and yields 2.28
